The Canberra Handball club will meet Harbourside, in Sydney, this weekend to open their 2009 campaign.

This year, the team will feature eight new players, all originating from local ACT competitions.

Missing will be Canberra's top scorer in the last two years, Maciej Krawczyk. The Polish national, who led Canberra to a League title in 2007 moved to WA late last year.
