Curtis Eitzen

Junior national team goalkeeper Curtis Eitzen is expected to play for Canberra Handball Club as early as this weekend if clearance is approved by NSW Handball Association. He will line-up against his current club Hills Blaze, following an agreement for a transfer between the clubs.

19 year old Eitzen, who has represented Australia at both junior and senior Handball World Championships, is moving to Canberra after being accepted to study Sports Science at Canberra University.

Canberra has contested the NSW League final in the last two years, winning in 2007, but is yet to win a game this year after four rounds of competition.

Canberra hosts Hills this Saturday starting from 12:00 at the Woden Basketball Centre in Phillip.

The club wishes Curtis best of luck in the competition.
