NSW girls were convincing in their victory against Queensland, 15:9 (4:4) in the second game of the three-state tournament. Both teams struggled to score goals in the first half, locked at 4:4 at the break. NSW though was quick of the mark in the second half, going on a 7:1 scoring run. NSW's Laura Ridley top-scored in the match with 5 goals. NSW will now play ACT to determine the competition leader at the end of the first round of competition.
