ACTHA announces first ever u16 teams

ACTHA is proud to announce their first ever u16 teams, competing at the 2009 National Championships, this weekend in Coffs Harbour. The athletes have been selected from a number of schools in the region. Included in the boys’ team is the talented left-wing Kerry Olesen and goalkeeper Brody O’Brien, who have both made appearances with Canberra's senior team in the NSW League, this season. In the girls team, the exciting player to watch will be Mariel Soulard. Mariel started her first handball steps in France and will lead the team as the most experienced player.

I wish the ACT boys and girls teams the best of luck in their games.

I'm really impressed with what I've seen and I know you'll all do your best.

Don't be scared to miss a shot. The only thing worse that a missed shot is no shot at all.

I will be keenly watching the updates on the website.
